Akshaya Tritiya Gold Offer: During the auspicious Akshaya Tritiya festival, various jewellery stores are offering goodies for price-sensitive Indian gold buyers-in terms of free gold coins weighing 0.5 grams for every ₹30,000 spending; a ₹101 discount per gram on gold jewellery; discounts of ₹3,500 when purchasing gold weighing 10 grams; and a making charge of just ₹1.
Gold hit its lowest price of ₹84,490 for 10 grams on April 19, 2025, and the highest price at ₹1,02,007 for 10 grams on April 22, 2025, and then again, it fell to ₹95,111 for 10 grams on April 28. Fluctuation in rates has prompted numerous buyers to be lured by the "Pay just 10 per cent, lock your gold rate for Akshaya Tritiya" scheme.

Well now, the most popular is a rate protection scheme, wherein a costume jeweller would pay 10-20 percent of the value of the ornament only to lock the gold rate of the day. Free gold coins of 400 to 800 mg are given to customers buying gold and diamond jewellery, but they need to keep in mind that they are eligible only on purchasing at least ₹1–2 lakhs worth of items.
